Storybook STEM
Fun workshops for primary school aged kids
What is Storybook STEM?
Storybook Stem is a fun workshop-style class, for primary school-aged children. Each workshop is based on a popular children's picture book. After reading the story, the students then complete a science or technology-themed challenge based on the problem in the story.
Students will develop their resilience, social skills, problem solving ability and higher order thinking.

Who runs Storybook STEM?
Each workshop is run by Emily Fogg and another teacher. Emily Fogg is a Science Curriculum Specialist and Storybook STEM is her very own invention. She has spent years developing these engaging lessons and has even given other Western Australian teachers professional development in developing their own STEM units of work, as part of her work as Department of Education Teacher.
